Best of the Northwest Comes to the Bravern

After assembling a stellar offering of world-class fashion and lifestyle retailers at The Bravern in downtown Bellevue, developer Schnitzer West announced today that the European-inspired outdoor village will also be home to a Best of the Northwest collection that includes Sur La Table, Eye Society, Dilettante Mocha Cafe and Silberman/Brown Stationers, in addition to the previously announced Wild Ginger and John Howie Steak restaurants.

BELLEVUE, WA (October 20, 2008) – After assembling a stellar offering of world-class fashion and lifestyle retailers at The Bravern in downtown Bellevue, developer Schnitzer West announced today that the European-inspired outdoor village will also be home to a Best of the Northwest collection that includes Sur La Table, Eye Society, Dilettante Mocha Cafe and Silberman/Brown Stationers, in addition to the previously announced Wild Ginger and John Howie Steak restaurants.

Currently under construction in the superblock adjacent to Meydenbauer Center, The Shops at The Bravern are scheduled to open in September 2009, anchored by the Northwest’s first Neiman Marcus store.

“Over 20 percent of The Shops at The Bravern will become local and regionally based merchants,” says spokesman and senior investment director Tom Woodworth. “We are excited to present some of the Northwest’s best retailers alongside other world-class brands. Specialty cookware retailer Sur La Table will occupy 5,000 square feet at The Bravern. Founded in 1972 with its first location at Pike Place Market, the company now has 70 stores nationwide and four more opening by the end of the year. The comprehensive cookware shop provides inspiration, tools and techniques for those who wish to enhance their lives through creative cooking and artful entertaining. Sur La Table shops the world for new products, providing the unexpected and a sense of discovery, including tools to prepare any cuisine as well as beautiful dishes, linens and glasses to create a striking presentation.
