Navigating New Construction
It’s amazing to see all the new construction or conversion condominium projects either underway, being planned or recently completed in downtown Bellevue!

What is the definition of “new”?
Condominium buyers desiring to purchase in a new construction condominium often choose to do so in order to be the first owner in a never-lived-in home. One drawback is that the property may not be ready for occupancy as readily as a traditional resale property.

Downtown Bellevue Condo Absorption
I have been tracking ratios and absorption rates for downtown Bellevue condos (in addition to other eastside areas) since about August of 2006. I separate out the number of new construction from resale condominiums and have seen an interesting trend in the past several months.
